I've still dealt with some pretty insane things in the middle of the night.
But I mostly just write down HOA violations and sit in a cozy gatehouse.

The damn camp kitchen I bought is too big. I'm gonna have to look at it next weekend and see if I can take the table/lift mechanism and swap it to a smaller box

 

Been wanting to get another bearded dragon. Had one growing up. I love reptiles and the like. Turtles especially.

The only problem with beardies is they are expensive to buy and feed at first.

Yeah, turtles need a lot more space than people think. Which is why I don't have one right now. I also don't have any reptiles yet because I don't have space for a big enough tank.

Good morning, fockers.

Spent the night about 80 miles north, with an actual female I didn't have to give my credit-card number to....was great. Best thing though - traffic between Frankfurt and here was about perfect. 110mph in traffic - everyone staying in their lane, doing what they should do while driving. Nobody cared. At 110 I was passed a lot - because I stuck to the right except when passing.

One dude almost got us both killed though.

As I approach about 170km, I pull into the left lane to pass. As I get about 3 dots from him (based on that word-diagram I just posted) dude pulls out in front of me going about 90km. My little beater Golf braked so hard to avoid ramming him up the but like Taxes (Not TEXAS...of course, there's that joke about steers...). Guy was in a late model 530D. Just NOT paying attention or not giving two craps. When he finally passed the Big Truck and found the right lane again, in my rear view i saw him give ME the "You are crazy" sign (tapping one's forehead while looking condescendingly towards the person you think is nuts).

Ugh.

Otherwise - uneventful.

I think if I had millions or gixxerphil kind of money, i'd spent it on campaigning lawmakers to adopt about 85% of German traffic laws, including abolishing speed limits where they make no sense.
