Ok makes sense. I take some time to think on my projects and do research. It took me a year and a half to build my last AR. I take even longer with my truck because it costs more. I'll probably hit 3 more deer before i get a steel bumper haha.

I used to have that avid bar, I would put it about two steps above a bull bar, its beefy will take a light hit without moving but not enough for a deer strike.

Well, I wanted a bigger rack, and I sure got one! I went with the Yakima offgrid basket with an extension. 75" long, this thing is huge. I think I like it. I can't wait to strap the kayak up there and get the hell out of town next weekend!

I had a full brushguard on my Ranger. Deer bent it, it kissed the fender. New bolts in the brush guard, good to go. Hit a deer with my Taco in 2013 total came to $2600. It was another $2000 for a plate bumper and front suspension to hold it. BTW the Ranger did nose dive with just the brushguard, could've used some suspension upgrades.

That seems cheap. Would be a great trail truck!

After looking at the picture closer, it looks like the bed is either damaged or not lined up with the cab for some reason. Could be a sign of other problems.

I have the cheap eBay bumper, been pretty happy with it. I will eventually add full hoops, but that's low on the list of project

New rims thanks to @BookieBob and some fresh rubber! Went with Fallen Wildpeaks in 235/85R16, drove her up north and besides some wind noise from the kayaks everything seems to be going smoothly!
