Bakflip sits nice and flush, plus the mounting rails install easily unlike the OEM ones. 20190620_163601.jpg

I have the Bakflip Revolver X2 and absolutely love it. It’s a solid rolling cover, not soft and sits flush. Little pricey, but install was easy with detailed instructions and their customer service is top notch as i had some faulty parts and they shipped out replacement parts asap.

Could be overkill for your needs, but I absolutely love my Diamondback cover.

Welcome to the forum. I have an Extang Encore tonneau which locks with the truck's key, and it can be opened from the front or rear, which makes it easy to get to things in the front. It can be removed by one person without tools in a matter of a couple minutes.

    I highly recommend it.

Depends on what you’re looking for. I’ve always used the Gator tri-fold soft cover...costs around $300 and does a fine job. Easy on/off, keeps the water out, doesn’t fade etc...

I had a Undercover that I liked but, wanted to add bed bars so I picked up a Leer Trilogy. I have enjoyed the trifold.

TL;DR Tyger Roll up on Amazon is cheap n good

I originally wanted a hard cover, but couldn't justify the prices of the ones I wanted. I ended up getting a Tyger roll-up soft cover from Amazon because I needed one quickly for a road trip.

It was less than $200 and fits like a glove. It secures really tight on the bed rails with the hook and loop. The lock down portion near the tailgate is secure and easy to unlatch. It kept everything dry until a heavy downpour, where I discovered the gap near the cab corner which seems to be common on any cover. Stuffed with some foam and weatherstripping and now its water tight:thumbsup:

Hi I been looking for a good cover fir a year now, some research will point me right then with some review it turn me off.

Anyways to keep this short, I have live in North Coast Cali where it rains 60% of the year, and 90% moists. Looking to get something which will be near water proof leaking into the bed, and if possible something easy to clean to prevent rust from the moist. Thanks.

Hard tonneaus don't really make sense to me since they're so cumbersome.

I got a Truxedo Truxport on my first Tacoma and won't buy another type. For it's price, there's nothing better that I've seen.

North mountain, great price around $150 off Amazon easy installation no complaints 10 months with it. Pretty well sealed only water leaks are during downpours at the front but it’s minimal.

The BackFlip looks good. I would only be concerned with the cable release as looks very fragile. Seems wouldn't take long for the cable or cable connections to brake with being constantly tugged on.

    ONE-HANDED OPERATION
Easy to use, automatic slam latches work by conveniently locking the cover to the rear mounting rails on both sides of the truck bed. Pulling the release cable from either side of the bed will unlatch the cover, making it ready to roll up.

That's what I mean I have a brake cable broken on my Specialized 21 speed now. Not very durable compared to a handle and latch.
