I did. He leaned down to grab the girls hand. I leaned in closer to the side of his head and loudly said you're welcome.
285/75/16 on a 2009. Welcome. Where ya from?

Thank you for the warm welcomes! I'm in the KOP area and am embarrassed to post mine after Redmann's awesome setup. Besides it being a good deal, got this used pro because my son insisted on blue and I convinced myself I wouldn't mod it...smh, boy was I wrong on the latter...at least this will be a decent "before" pic

Turd gen on 255/85s. The only real difference is that 285s are about an inch wider. They're around the same diameter. Though the 285s tend to take more work to make fit.

I do this. A lot of the time people wake up and realize that someone held the door for them and sheepishly say "thank you". Other times they have no clue or are just plain ignorant. I only go in Wawa to pee.

That's a great, simplified summary...the 285s just look so awesome, but i've read so many negative performance reviews, especially since I haven't been very happy with the shifting with stock tires...already got the OVtune and run in S4/5 and ECT, which combined helps a lot.

What tune are you running? I run the 91 and the power gains are pretty noticeable. I'd run 93 but I'm not entirely sure which neighboring states don't supply 93.

Nice color and good looking truck!

I know you're not looking for more pics, so I'm not helping much here.... Still
This is my 3rd gen on 255/80/17
    Before lift
    And more recentIMG_20190527_34924.jpg

And there is a bit more difference between 255 and 285 (granted 255s have ~25K on them)

Depends on brand for the size difference. Toyo 255s for example are listed at 33.5. Dick cepeks are @ 32.8

Good to know...I do like that they are always looking into improvements/updates. Just the Base 87. I ran the performance 87 for 1/2 day, but thought it was too aggressive on the low end and had extra messy shifting above 35mph. Unfortunately, I am now very truck poor, so don't want to try any higher octane tunes until i'm forced to (vs regearing) when I get 33s. If anyone is interested, I just saw that they are running a 10% sale; however, If I had to do it again, I would've put that $ toward a prinsu rack...

That's just the performance tune. I'm running the 91 performance and the itchy trigger has gotten better over a couple of months. The 91 base should have roughly the same shift pattern as your 87 base.

However, I understand not wanting to pay $.50 more per gallon.

Also check out uptop overland's racks, they're sexy.

Gotta love cranes that take other cranes to get set up.

We had a 500ton here last year setting the precast roof Ts for our new coolers.

We had a 500 ton mobile liebherr with almost 100 feet of lattice. Didn’t need a 500 ton but they only wanted to setup once for everything (but they ended up having to set up twice anyways)

ha, thanks for the pic and it's a perfect example of my dilemma! Your 255s look awesome...just until you put them next to your new 285s! How has your performance been with the 285s?

We had to get a 500 ton purely for the work radius.

No nono.... That wasn't my photo. I noted it was "courtesy of @Wheelspinner", he posted it in his thread a while back.
I was thrown back a bit with the difference of 285s and skinny 33s
