Just as an FYI, below is the verbatim response I got from Falken regarding the red vs yellow dot. I still have not mounted mine (still in the garage) and will likely put them and my NIB Rays on the BST thread.

The red and yellow dots are uniformity marks used to help the dealer get a better balance with using less weights.
The yellow dot is the low spot on the tire, and the red is the high point.
We recommend mounting the yellow dot closest to the valve stem.

Wonder if I should take my tires back and tell them to mount the Wildpeaks on with yellow dots? :anonymous:

It’s been my experience that if your tires are balanced leave them alone until they’re not. lol

Got mine installed today. 265 70 17 on stock OR suspension and fn fx pros. Probably have to remove original replace the mudflaps, rubbed when making an uphill turn.

Would you guys say these are the best A/T tire for all types of rain and wet roads on the market right now? I can't decide if I want to do these or Toyo...

don't they come with a 55k warranty? that sucks man. I got them too and love them. got them for 108 a tire from Amazon(265/75r16) and installed them using the sears option for 16 bucks each.
just did my first rotation last week at 5 k. when did you do yours?

While I haven't tried every A/T on the market, I can say that these are way better on rain slick roads than the BFG Kbro2's and Duratracs.

How much air are you guys running in them? Stock taco and no shell here. I have 265/70/17 and keep about 34-36 in mine but milage went down considerably from stock Toyos

Wildpeaks are great in the wet stuff. Way better than the BF Goodrich All Terrains

    I'd recommend 32 or less.

I can’t say these are the best all terrain tires out there but I can say on wet pavement they are better than the Toyo at2’s and most of the other at’s I have experience with

Same exact setup here and mine rub in the front on turns even after removing the stock mudflaps.

Oh, that's disconcerting. Are you just living with it? I am not too motivated to get a lift, but maybe should start budgeting for a small one?

Right on the money this time around... no vibrations at any speed, currently.

Right now I'm just living with it. I haven't spent much time analyzing, but it appears that a little trimming of the plastic on the lower part of the wheel well would take care of it. I'd imagine it might be due to the wheel offset and width on the FN FX Pros, since I don't see many others complaining about rubbing with this tire size. I'm planning on getting a lift soon, so I may just continue living with it until then.
