Guy in charge of my facilities department wants to get rid of all of these. We got him down to $40 each since @BadgerBoy bought 4. These things are SOLID and you won't find that kind of price anywhere else.

Just for reference, a Husky cabinet at HD that is shorter, narrower, shallower and uses thinner gauge metal is $220.
    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-3...Steel-Garage-Base-Cabinet-G2801B-US/304082053

(Disclaimer: I'm only guessing on the thinner gauge. These cabinets are relatively heavy and I don't see the ones at HD weighing that much.)

I like that you got the floor epoxy down. I really wish I could have done that in my garage but the concrete was too new and we needed to empty our storage unit. I've thought about doing a side at a time, but that might look kinda weird.

Now just go get a piece of laminate counter top so that you've got a smooth and easily cleanable workbench. I'm between doing that on mine and just laying a couple 2x12s or 2x10s across the top. I'll probably do one of each.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
This is a sweet deal, can’t beat that with a stick!
Good on you for sharing with the group!

Powder coated the TRD skid this am, so that it wouldn’t detract from my @JDEMELLO goodness.

I've also debated painting mine black cause they are a little on the ugly side. But price and function can't be beat.

So my company has a foundation where they give back to the community. http://www.acufoundation.org/

All sales of the cabinets (or any of the other furniture) goes into the foundation. So I see it as being able to help y'all get some sturdy cabinets for cheap and helping out the foundation. On a related note, if anyone is in the market for an executive desk....there is one left. I'll see if I can get some pics next week.

@Built2Ride that looks pretty sweet. What did the PC run you and where did you get it done. The truck looks awesome.

He gets everything done at ACC garage. They have a dude that does powdercoating, but it's called something else.

Haven’t had a chance to post yet, but since we’re on the subject, I picked up my @SOS CONCEPTS rear HC from powdercoat this week:cool: Super pleased with the outcome and price. Provided my own powder and they blasted and laid on a super thick coat for $116.60! Over half the price of other shops!

The shop is Packer Industries and they are located in Smyrna (1 mile off of 285). They have a blasting booth, spray booth, and oven all 12’ x 25’ in size(you could get a whole frame blasted and coated:eek:). Highly recommended, I told them if they did solid work I’d more than likely have some customers to send their way!

Oh also, I’ve been thinking of getting my wheels powder coated, so I requested a quote from them. They quoted me $60 per my 16” wheel(providing my own powder). They have tire mount and balance machines so you can literally bring the whole wheel and tire in and they can dismount, blast and coat, remount and balance for you.

I can’t speak for JBs pricing as he and Z go way back. He charged me $275 to powder my sliders. Definitely on the high end, but his work is also the best I’ve ever seen. I feel like I got what I paid for.

What up Bill. Good to hear from you. It was awesome to have met you the other day. Hope to see you at one of the events, this group is a hoot!
Yep, Cowboy is on it. I get all my work done at ACC Garage. Got to support your homies! They have an offshoot business called Smoking Gun Powder Coating.
In regards to price, I am a bit out of the loop on that, beat would just be to call.

I wish I could say I have the Powder hookup for us on the cheap. But the reality is, it’s one guy trying to make a decent living in an expensive town to live in.
As @backcountryj mentioned. They are not the cheapest place to get powder done, however I feel that their prices fall in line with the quality. The amount of prep/detail work that he does cleaning the surfaces before they get powdered is applied, is most certainly top shelf.

Thanks for all of the responses. I'll need to wait on this for a bit since I recently put on a new topper and have my SOS sliders on order and just received my Nomad tent. I have some work travel coming up so I won't be able to get the sliders until the 15th. (Picking them up) As for getting out with this group, I'm hoping to do that sometime soon. It really seems like a great group.

Also anybody have any plans this weekend? Looking for something to do but not camping/wheeling more of mall crawling and hanging out.

Possibly a meetup at a brewery or something similar

Jesus, that’s a serious deal! I think if you got good results and your up north, that’s a no brainer.
Is that color matched? Looks to be.

If you end up reaching out to Packer, shoot them an email at sales@packerind.com with rough overall dimensions of the part(s), a picture of said parts with requested powder(I provided my own because it was not a basic color and they order their powders in bulk; i order from Prismatic Powders) and they will email you a quote! Mention that I (Chris Gilmore) sent them your way and they may give you a better rate!
