Yup, recommended replacement interval for DOT 3 fluid is easy to remember, three years. It attracts water and will bond with it and rust your calipers and brake lines internally and because water boils at a lower temp than brake fluid in its natural state you run the risk of boiling your brakes on heavy braking, which means you lose all your brake pressure.

 

Welp I need to do all my fluids for 200k Gonna add that to the list.

The TRD FMU in that kit is very rare and they stopped distributing it, but it is why I believe the guy with a half million mile SC truck runs so decent, well that and elevation, that helps too

It should as long as your trucks engine block ain’t rotted out

 

It raises the fuel pressure to the injectors at a higher rate than the stock pressure regulator so they inject a greater volume per pulse. The trucks like to run lean and that forces them to richen up a bit

 

It’s a little beast, caterpillar motor in it

Do you have an AFR gauge? I probably wouldn't try it without a way to verify it is having a positive effect

Welp I have a new noise. It appears to be coming from the passenger side around the dash. It happens while truck is on or while the key is in the ON position. NO ac on.

 

If you don't mind installing an AFR gauge to watch the effect it has then go for it. You might find it runs much better with it, you also might find it runs way too rich (less likely since it's a TRD part I'm sure its ratio is conservative)
