So the wife and I decided to go camping this weekend last min. Saturday I took her up to check out trillium lake and decided I wanted to come back on Still Creek rd.

I would say this is a better road going toward Trillium lake not leaving Trillium. There are pot holes both big and small but I felt it was a pretty cool little 12 mile drive. You run over Still Creek a couple of times and I stopped to take a couple pictures. Kind of wish I stopped more or took some off shoots but all in all it was a good hourish drive.

There was also a guy with his chick doing some off the road camping with what looked to be a 2nd gen with a black soft topper. I would have taken pics but that would have been a little creepy haha.

Only shitty part of the weekend is the fire ban that started Friday morning...

We just camped at Mt Hood RV Resort. Last min plans with the dog and we used one of their RV spots that they recently switched to a tent spot.

The Drive was great but like I said it probably be more fun if you went from Rhododendron to Trillium instead of Trillium to rhododendron

Good deal - Nice to add to the back pocket for a drive out that way soon.

It would also be a nice detour route if there is ever an accident in the Mt.

Made this drive from Trillium to Rhody, the wife also enjoyed it quite a bit and we only encountered one other vehicle along the way. No campers at the one decent looking site along the creek. I'll definitely have to keep it in my back pocket for a nice little off pavement drive.

A few weeks ago, I came across this sign on still creek rd, heading from Trillium to Rhododendron.

Didn't have time to check out whether or not it applied that day. Is it still there?

I know they have been doing intermittent road work on the road this summer.
