    Just thought this was curious... I went into the dealership the other day and while I was waiting, I thought I'd browse around TacomaWorld.com on my iPhone. Lucky enough, they have a wireless access point at the dealership, so I thought, "cool - faster!"

    Connect to their network and TW.com won't come up. I can get to google, yahoo, etc..., but not TW. Disconnect from their network (back to just the 3G network) and voila! Connect again and it won't come up.

    So, aparently, this site is blocked at least at my dealership...

    Anyone else with similar experiences?

    Just kinda funny.

    They should be I cost them plenty of money due to this site. Windshield not sure of the price but had the Spring TSB done, the invoice said $1300. They did it wrong the first time so they did it again at a cost of the dealership another 1300 bucks. The first was paid by Toyota corp. the second was by the indipendent dealer.

    from what i think i understand, webpages have to be specifically set up for web-to-phone services. apparently TW is not. way too much crap to try to fit on a tiny screen anyways

    This is true for most mobile web browsers, but Safari on the iPhone (while it still isn't just as good as a desktop browser), can display any webpage as a whole.
