I should have guessed that but oh well , I am not sure a CBA overrides state criminal laws. Nor does it prevent liability from attaching there if the employer knows/suspects the employee is under the influence and sends him / her home on their own. Said employee gets in a wreck or hurts someone ... I would not want to be your employer these days since no one wants to hold anyone personally responsible .

To some, yes, not my thing though. I would rather drive and operate real equipment :notsure:

Staying late at the shop working on some cleanup to make my hours for the day. It is warm and sloppy out

Well Mama wanted me to reconfigure the shelving in our b/room closet. Turns out I had to drop some drywall and cut out some rotted framing due to a small roof leak. Funny how a small job turns into something else.
    Almost done!!!

I know, trying to be funny on a serious issue.
We have had a few of these issues, one ended Christmas parties across the nation.

Stopped raining this morning but the Rivers are still rising as the creeks drain. Had 4-7" of rain in 6 hours last night, guess they were serious about the flash flooding:

Rochester International Airport was closed for several hours overnight because of water over the runways where around 5" of rain fell in 6 hours. The hardest hit area was west of the city of Rochester, near Oxbow Park, where flash flooding on the Middle Fork of the Zumbro river swept away 40-60 cattle off one farm.

A lot of farmers planted corn out of rotation this year because the tariff on soybeans is so high demand for beans has plummeted. Oh wait, the corn just got washed out. Again.

Damn right, that is what we call Cascading Casualties in the world of systems. And yes lack of coffee beans will initiate the havoc.

That will make the dog happy  Hopefully the chicks make it through the summer, Sept. 15 is only 2.5 months away... Mn. drumming counts come out Monday. Doesn't matter what the survey forecast says I will be in the woods watching the dog run!

Serious indeed. I met with member before meeting. He agreed to accepting help. Got off with a level one warning. Two more chances before termination. Hopefully not needed. Two good jobs I saved this week, I am drained. Have a great evening.

Is that two chances forever or does he get one back after a couple years?

His last level 1 was ten years ago. No language in the cba dictating this. I feel management was being generous due to member being two years from retirement. Hope member makes it to finish line...

    Evening all!

    Nice!

My wife picked these from our garden. I want her to pickle the banana peppers. We'll use the tomatoes for salsa.
