It's MGM but the sunset hitting off it makes it look that way, I did a double take when i took the picture cause it looked so off

Yeah it works for you. I had a 2012 with that cover and took it off for good after the rain sound bugged me enough. In New Hampshire we get enough rain that I don't need to hear more. I test drove a few more Taco's with covers when I came on the 2016 that had them and they all made that same sound. I also use a homemade roof rack which makes using any of these impossible .

These work for some guys and not for others. I am about to load up (2) 14' 6" kayaks, and will get pics. I made V blocks too that come off so I can take a canoe, and 1 kayak or remove all the blocks with a single bolt each and carry anything flat .

IMG_0818.jpg I went with the Access Lorado. Any leaking isminimal, and anything I need 100% dry goes in a watertight stoarge conatiner.

Now that water tight container is nice. I haven't found one anything like that nice. Where did that come from ? I use a bin that locks down ok, but dropped the lid when it was covered in ice and cracked it in a break. I shoe gooed it, but that didn't stop all the water even after going it on both sides of the break . I use it for grocery shopping when the items won't fit in the cab, and foir what ever the other door gear of the day is. Kayak canoe, winter gear etc.

I went with a gator soft tri-fold on Amazon it was $219 - I was looking at the hard plastic lockable covers but I couldn’t justify spending that much on something that I wouldn’t use that often - I rarely have anything in the bed that needs to be locked up and secured

Also in the market for a tonneau cover! Might be a dumb question but do they make OEM covers for the long bed? I've never seen one

By no leaks, do you mean never any water in the bed whatsoever? I can't say that about mine.

I've got a LEER HF350M tri-fold hard cover. Love it. Went with this over the BAKFLip products because, unless they've changed the design, you can break into them by sliding a coat hanger in between the tailgate and the cover and actuate the cord latching system to open it up. Not very secure. The LEER uses a pinch-latch system that's much harder to get to.

Solid Fold 2.0, don't need to drill holes, two latches by the tailgate are quick release. The two latches by the window are screw-in and take just a couple minutes to loosen if you need to take off the whole thing. This with the power locking tailgate is great for security.

My OEM cover will leak a little too in a downpour or during a continuous rain over a day or so.

Love my OEM. If I shut the cover then the tailgate I get no water whatsoever. If I shut the tailgate first I get a little water.
