Finally sold all my other drops that, after the addition of the rear bumper, did me no good. So, since I need to pull the utillity trailer tomorrow i finally got a 11" drop Reese drop hitch. Still isn't really enough but it'll do.

Not an exciting mod but necessary

I need to do similar, but hopefully shouldn't be a problem compared to your gangster lift!

Shit I'm stink buggin pretty good now like 4" lift in the rear, after the bumper, and only 1 3/4 in the front. It all works well and rides good. Ha! you're one to talk about a "Gangs lift" with all the magnificence you have going on Mr. LT. Hopefully all my welds are still holding up

I haven't ever seen what you got done to the rear but from what you were saying it ought to be really cool especially for what you wanted it for. I admired your dedication to building with a purpose pretty much as I have tried to do just a different route. I may look into upgrading the front suspension later but the rear is good.

Yea man the rear is def nice and handles the whoops out here pretty well. Im sure at some point I will break something with how I drive out here, but its been well worth it man. Shoot for what I have into this build, I don't have enough money to not have a plan! If I had done it over I would have just gotten the DMZ rear from the get go and just be a basic bitch for another year or two than I did originally.

Hard to believe this whole thing started with replacing a busted taillight.

Perhaps. Remember your reciever will now be in your bumper not under it.

No coo truck mods, not that I ever have many. Spent my hot AF weekend working on the screened in porch. I haven't been able to do much with it for the last couple of years with my shoulder but finally getting back to finish it up. Finally got it wired up last week 3 interior outlets along the walls, 1 outlet in the ceiling, 1 outlet on the exterior for the grill, and the ceiling fan. So this weekend I took the fan back down, got all the soffit I needed and J channel and closed in the roof. $200 for mateials for the roof but it's all vynal. All I have left now is the trim boards arond the interior under the ceiling.

Christie had me build an all composite 16x20 deck on the house a few years ago and I added this to it

So now the electrical and ceiling are done

Overhead work not my favorite with bad shoulders but I got it done

Nice. Our outside screened in porch has that same ceiling material. I want to put in some can lights up there since the previous owners couldn’t be bothered to put lighting anywhere in the house (guess they liked lamp lighting).

There is a fan out there, suppose I could power the lights off that switch, but I know I’d end up having to redo all of that vinyl at the end of the day.

At the least you'll have to remove it to allow access to run wires and mount boxes. The fun is measureing and cutting to fit around the boxes. I had an outlet put in the ceiling controled by a switch so when the trim boards are done I can run rope light or something similar around the edges of the ceiling for mild accent lighting that is easily controled. The deck on the front of the house is all wood I would love to strip it down and redo it in vynal with the white vynal hand rails but good Lord that shit is expensive.

Spent the day piddling in the garage cleaning. We had a fridge crap out so I took it outside and freed up some space. Sooo I moved a bunch around to make room for an addition. My daughter's future FIL bought a new TIG welder so he asked if I would like to have his stick welder. I wasn't about to pass that up so I made a trip to the city and picked it up. Loading was easy with 3 people to help but at home I had to get a little crafty. I just backed into the garage, rolled it onto the tailgate, lifted it with a come-a-long from the trusses and drove the truck out from under it. Cool deal he was the original owner and it was always kept inside IDk how much it was used.

    Airco 295 amp stick welder

    with it's buddies

I need to put a plug on it and either build a stand with new casters or just add new casters as they don't roll so well anymore. Then time to burn some rods and try it out!
