My front Billy 5100's will be coming in later this week and I want to install them this weekend coming up. I read on the DSM website where I ordered them from that they do not come with stem bushings. What does this mean?
Also are there any other parts I will need to install them properly? I plan to set them at 1.75" on my 2010 Access Cab 4x4 SR5

Nah they come with everything you need. The bushing is already installed in the bottom and the ones for the top are fine to reuse from the OEM assembly as long as they're not cracked, rotten, torn, etc. Good luck!

Sweet thanks for the response. I would say the bushing is fine to re use since the truck only has about 6k miles on it. Would you agree?

Absolutely. Just did mine with 43k miles and the bushing looked perfect still.

It's a good idea to get an alignment done afterward if you're lifting... and if you're putting 5100s on I assume you're lifting at least a little bit :D

thanks for these links! i needed to know what specs too torque everything too so they will come in handy. ill also double check on the spring compressor.

also, yes it is recommended that you get an alignment afterwards. im doing the shocks before the tsb because i already worked it out with the dealership that they do a front and rear alignment during the tsb.
