Have you used it all on any metal? Been considering this and their new die grinder instead of new air tools.

 

Yeah I cut the hangers off of my old exhaust no problem. I also notched some 1/8" wall square tube with it. I wouldn't make it my primary cutting tool unless you have a bunch of batteries but it is nice to have for quick stuff.

 

Have you used it till the battery was dead? Figured with 3 batteries and the 2 tools i should have enough run time to keep working while one charges. Not primary cutting tool. Just more clean up work and small pieces that need to be exact and a 4.5 grinder is to big.

yeah i have, the battery life with the 6.0 isnt horrible but i expected it to last a little bit longer. if its just for clean up work you'll be fine, i dont think it would do too well on thick stuff though.

Garage is clean today

 

I woke up early to clean my garage today, sat at my workbench and watched a YouTube video, then decided against it and walked inside and made myself breakfast. So my garage is still filthy lol. The worst part is I just had my roof replaced so theres a bunch of debris all over my work benches

 

Well we had a fridge go down so I took it out of the garage and freed up some space. I was offered a stick welder for free so went and picked it up and had to rearrange things a bit.

Airco 295 amp stick welder i just need to get a plug for it. Got it from the original owner IDK how much it was ever even used. Getting it off the truck by myself was fun but I figured it out.

I pulled most of my crap out of the garage and cleaned everything, vacuumed and swept.. then rearranged it all for more room since none of it seems to need to be accessible anymore.

Did get some space to throw an end locker on my HF box, but didn’t have time to go pick it up. So.. maybe another day.

 

Must have been a weekend for garage cleaning. Did mine too.

Decided to clear out stuff that has not moved in 2 years. I loaded up the junk Chevy truck with all the scrap metal I could find. Hopefully I make enough for a couple cases of beer.

 

Picked up a 7” Knipex Cobra to go with the 10” I bought a few weeks ago.

Also got their 10” pliers wrench and M12 Bluetooth radio about 10 min ago at Home Depot.

I think I’m covered on pliers now.

 

Need the little 5in knipex. Super handy little size.

 

If someone had it local I would’ve already.

 

Yeah, surprisingly hard to find. But a lot of competitor knock offs at HD/Lowes!

 

i dont find I use the 5" ones much over the 7" ones. The 7" are my go to if i need the cobra ones.

but really i use the Pliers Wrench (in 5" and 7") the most. love those things...and they dont leave marks
