Right on... I'll start posting details in the 209 Mod Day thread. There's a couple guys up here who would be able to help figuring out on board air.

Well, of course you would. That doesn't make you mentally defective. Frustrated, probably. Hey, I've been there, but she wasn't home. Damn the bad luck.

Spotted in San Jose around noon on S 10th .... red 3rd gen with aftermarket bumpers that with a quick glance at 30 mph looked like BruteForceFab. Anyone?

You want the OE mounts that bolt to the sway bar bolts? Or weld on?

Just the oe mount to the sway bar mount, I just bought the bamf bumper reinforcement brackets. I had to chop my king mounts to make the brute force reinforcements work. I didn’t know there was a weld on option, I’ll take any info you have on that as well, thanks.

Finally got the damn graveyard of bugs off the taco. Then I painted my stretch marks on the sliders. Just don’t look at the passenger side, I ran out of paint :anonymous:

Nice job. Once I actually scuff up my sliders (by actually using them :)) I have a pictorial on how to repaint them.
    What paint did you use?

Time to tint my windows. Anyone know a guy?

Pulled up to Costco, got out and saw 2 young males get out of their car and walk up to another to peek into its windows. Coincidence? Maybe. Not taking any chances.

I wanted flat black but I bought Satin because they didn’t have flat in stock. A little glossy but they match my rims pretty good.

Edit: used a wire wheel to clean off the rust. Worked pretty good

Your post made me think of something I saw @ the Hayward Costco. While I was leaving, saw a car park parallel (very close, like right up on the bumpers) to two parked cars. Driver stayed behind the wheel slumped down a bit while passenger was crouched down next to the driver side door of one of the parked cars. With their car parked so close to the rears of the two cars, he was well obscured from view (from the rest of the lot) but being in the taco and off the ground a bit more than a car I could see more. Driver eye balled me as I slowly drove by. As I exited the lot, called PD but didn't stick around to see what went down.

Definitely makes you think. Ironically, costco's hired security car was driving around the lot with its little orange flashy light bar. Don't leave anything in view - on the seats or otherwise.
