Had one on our porch the other night that kept setting off the motion alarm I have, at 3am. Scared the crap out of me

 

Where did you order them from? I'm looking at the 555s off of LROR's website

I'd rather not wait a month so if you got them from there, I'm gonna order from someplace else lol

 

Just get some parts off rock auto lol. Tire rods Arnt critical like LBJs. So running a part store part is no issue

 

I'll see if Rockauto has the 555s.

And if you wreck a tie rod you're gonna have a bad time



maybe not as potentially catastrophic as a failed LBJ but a busted tie rod is going to cripple your truck until you get it fixed.

 

They arnt bad designed like the LBJ so not as much stress is on it. Which means you can get away with not using oem just fine

 

Slme zip tires will fix that lol

True but all the same I'd rather pay a little more for better quality than run with a higher risk of failure with a cheaper/lower quality part. Difference in price between say ACDelco and 555 isn't that much

Oddly enough I live in LA and there's only a couple Napas within an hour of me...but probably 30 Autozone's, Pep Boys, etc.

I'll hit up one of them this weekend and see if they have them in stock

New lines, caliper, pads, and rotor, of and I lubed the parking brake cable too.

 

I don't make 1hr drives at 15mpg unless I know it's going to be worth it lol
