Steering wheel controls

Still trying to get used to all the new technology stuff on my 2019 trd off road. Been driving a 2015 since I bought new in 2015. Today I needed to make a phone call and clicked the call button to bring up phone options on the display. That part worked but I couldn’t scroll to pick who to call. Is this a feature they removed or am I just too dumb to figure it out? Thanks for your time!

 

I think you just say the name you want, (call newdles, mobile) more hands free safety stuff. There is a voice learn option (so I could teach my truck to understand my cracker speak .

 

Yeah, that's how it works. Takes a little getting used to it, but worth it.

 

I really don’t like that Not a game changer but I’m definitely not the type of person to talk to objects if any form rather than maybe in anger I have had iPhones since I can remember and have turned Siri off every time I get an upgrade each year. Dang Toyota!!!

 

I'm kind' like you, but trying to adapt...
I think there's still a way to do it the old way.
