    Hi everyone.

Im trying to flop switches for two sets of rigid duallys and so far im not having good luck.

I did some reaearch on here and the net about what switch to uae, how to wire it etc.

I wanted to start with hooking it up to a fuse tap and see if it illuminated before i cut then switch off my lights and shortened the wire and the switch isnt illuminating.

Heres the pics of where im at

Based on the ch 4x4 instructions ive got it hooked up right, and based on what i saw on here, ive got it hooked up right - lights not illuminated.

Of all the truck stuff i know, electrical is my weak point

    Any help is MUCHO APPRECIADO

    Thanks

You have to connect the black wire to either battery negative or to metal chassis framing with a ring connnector. I think there’s a ground screw clamp behind the drivers kick panel but any metal in the body or frame will do though it’s recommended to go back to the battery to avoid having to sand or scrape metal for a good connection that may later rust. Edit- it’s called a circuit because current makes a complete circuit from the battery+ through the switch and back to the battery-.
