She sure is fun. Glad I never sold her. Almost traded her years ago for an LT single cab pickup with tundra clip. But im so happy now that I didn't. I know my little brother is jealous that its finally built

Will likely be getting F5 bronze with the 3.5" BS and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. However, I am quite curious on what the new entry into the six series is going to look like @SCSPerformance . So am hoping pictures will come out before the F5s go out of stock so I can make the choice

Finally joined the SCS F5 club. Wrapped em in 285/75/16 BFG KO2's

Side note: Even with telling the tire place to be careful with them and back cone balance them, they manage to scratch all of them. 3 of them aren't bad and you can't really notice. 1 of them was really bad and they're going to be replacing it, or paying for repairing it if the paint shop can color match it.

    Thanks man!

I do have pics. See attached. Yeah they're all in the middle of the hub where they mount it to the balancing machine I think.

The last one is the worst of them all, it looks like they went too far with an impact tool on that lug or something, and they actually gouged it a bit.

Thanks for sharing. I was on the fence about the gray vs. black wheels. Your truck tips the scales to black.

I was looking for gloss black, but flat black will have to suffice.

That’s a bummer about the scratches. Your experience can be a lesson for the rest of us.

The flat black is nice against the gloss of the truck I think, basically gives the eye some different textures to pick up on and helps to balance it out a bit (sorry, I'm a designer by trade, design talk haha)

Definitely bummer about the scratches, especially since I warned them beforehand about it and specifically told them to forward that info to the tech. Someone else on here went through the same thing.

@SCSPerformance Have you all thought about maybe printing off some detailed instructions on how to not scratch the wheels for the techs, and include the instructions in the boxes? It would probably cut down quite a bit on scratches. I've read a number of people on here that went through the same thing, hence why I knew to try and warn them.

    Thanks for the info.

I’m going to request back coning (watch the tech) and I’ll take the wheels and tires home to put them on myself.
