Alright fellow Tacoma owners. My truck is lifted 6inches with a victory 4x4 bumper and the radar is no longer working and the dealership can not recalibrate it. How can we bypass it or just not make it show up at all

 

You can unplug it. Will still have light.

 

Dealer can turn it off, you'll have lights on the dash

 

Just want cruise control to work and I don’t want to see the pop up anymore

 

Probably have to fix it or pull the bulb.

 

You can probably just do a long press on the button you use to turn on cruise control. This will disable the radar system and the truck will hold a constant speed

 

Hey man I just fixed mine yesterday. I lifted 6 inches and I had collision control lights, abs lights, check engine and traction control lights. Couldn’t use cruise control either. The fix was re calibrating the zero point. This becomes uncalibrated when the steering wheel angle changes after an alignment or one of the he sensors are replaced. Either have a dealership do it or purchase a Techstream cable with software off Amazon and do it yourself. It was super easy to do plus you get extra features you can change or run diagnostics on your truck with it. Worth the 30$
