    @Sperrunner capacitor seemed good with a multimeter.

    I tried to bypass the electric company's "energy saver" box which was interrupting the yellow trigger wire (?) By connecting the one coming in to the one on the relay and now not even the fan comes on

    Take a pic.? It should go fuse box>contactor>comp/fan

    You should be able to push in the contactor in manually and the fan and comp will turn on.
