I dont recall that truck having a block lift. Just a really shoddy suspension job and a bad tow down a hill.

I remember he had been trying to sell that truck here and got flamed to high heaven.

I can have my seat maxed out and reach the knob, every gear. Its made for a Subaru but the tread size is the same.

I believe you are correct. He had his axle locked while someone was winching him. It is very similar result to a failed block setup that I have seen happen on other trucks. Blocks are great for the street but rough on axle housing under stresses of off roading.

Thanks, I appreciate the sentiment. Actually got lucky and a neighbor showed up with a new chainsaw to try out. Nothing like 2 people kicking ass with 2 chainsaws. Took longer to load and go than to cut out the bad stuff. Finished my last 2 loads. Another neighbor wanted some firewood, I said start hauling all you want.

Finally, after waiting for the “moisture” in the hood to be removed, was able to give it my full detail. Always exhausts me with these 4 hour details, but dang does the paint feel smooth!

Washed, clayed, rinsed, dried and gave it the best of show wax. Inside got the wipdedown and protectant, vacuum and windows got Spray Away (first time using and it worked great!). And normally doesn’t rub down the tires because I live on dirt roads, but for the first detail, why not.

Need to search through here and see what protectant everyone uses for the tonneau cover.

The FJ in the back is up next, but. That will have to come tomorrow.

    Where’s the beer!

Sweet! You made it easy for me. I thought I had read aerospace 303 somewhere, but couldn’t remember if that was it or if I was thinking of what I’ve used on the hot tub cover.

    Thank you for posting that!

Installed led drl’s last night (passenger side is new led bulb) much brighter. Putting the stock bulbs back in until I get my plug and play capacitors. Getting hyper flash.
