Im a welder so im super good with the grinder and could follow the line BUT!! My ocd is gonna ensure i try and make the cuts laser straight haha

So how soon after you started cutting did the paint become unhappy? I assume you got a couple inches - you could put ice packs on the back side of the metal.
- a stream of cutting coolant on the back side
-cut a half inch below where you want it and sand the rest down to a magnet guide with a flap wheel or flat?

 

Good idea. I’m sure I could do something, the vertical slats are in a separate plastic piece that’s riveted to the head so there’s options on how to do it

 

Goodness! I get nothing but complements and ive hit stuff and have had no real damage.
Its in kinda rough [for my style] shape right now.
I had the piaa 510s with extreme white plus bulbs and they were so hot all the powdercoat is peeled in the light holes, behind the stainleas words is starting to rust, inside is starting to rust, the sides wherw water hits is rusting - EFFING salt!
It just needs to be taken off, cleaned and repainted - which im going to do this year.

Ive pulled big dead trees with the bumper, winched myself out of insane mud, been an anchor for a xj winching himself flat towing a yj wrangler and its bullet proof!!!

I hear they put them on hummers in iraq and took roadside bombs like champs. Id LOVE a rear one, but i think im going to fab one. They're so expensive

Have you seen the one for the tundra that has this seperate piece that bolts over the hood?

Replaced the R/F wheel bearing/hub assembly and brake rotor dust shield.
Installed a 3/4" spacer for my brake hose bracket. You can also see that I unclipped the ABS wire harness.
Removed flares before washing the truck tomorrow and installing Bushwackers.

Bushwacker fender flares?

After 2 very heavy bouts of rain/thunderstorms...no leaks.

 

They have been sitting in my apartment for months now.

 

After pulling the stock flares today, I noticed that the bumper piece and the fender piece aren't clipped or bolted together.
The Bushwacker flare instructions want you to bolt the two new pieces together (there are 2 holes for this). Mine didn't come with the holes and Bushwacker said I could drill them.
After seeing the factory flares, I won't be bolting the Bushwacker pieces together, makes bumper removal so much easier.

 

Ive got parts sitting here too haha! I never know when ill have that unreceeding creativity or motivation to do a bunch of stuff in one day so i order things i know i want to do and wait [grins and looks from side to side].
