whistling/belt sound while driving

    '03 Tacoma PreRunner SR5 Regular Cab
    Whats up, y'all. i have a 2003 Tacoma, prerunner sr5, single cab, 2 seater, and this morning when I was driving I started to hear a high-pitched/whistling sound coming from under the hood. also, when I press on the gas, sometimes the pedal sticks and when it finally presses down, there is a small stall/stutter sound.. perhaps these two are related?
