    A poor college kid who actually cares about their vehicle will stick with wax for now lol. My 04 isnt bad, only bad spot is the camper shell. But the 92 needs a new paint job, although a good wax job does wonders even to the crappy paint.

    A poor college kid can still get a quality sealant that is relatively cheap and out perform a wax any day.

    I'm seeing a couple different ones pop up in the top rated search results on Amazon for about $20/bottle,

    I hear sealants are harder to apply than wax, not that I have a problem with that
    maybe just takes more elbow grease?

    Not true at all. Most products I use whether wax, sealant, or ceramic is practically a wipe on wipe off product. If you are having to use elbow grease to get off then find a new product.

    I usually buy from Autogeek when they are running 20 or 25% off.

    Don't have a current pic, but I have used Factor 4 for several years now. First application lasted 18 months. Just used water to clean my car after applying. The beads I got when it rained were insane. The shine was also great. For a low cost wax/shine, I don't think you can beat it. It is important to do all the prep steps as instructed, but the result are well worth the effort.
