Thanks for the link. I am going to check them out. Worst case scenario, I am going to chop the resi mounts and tack weld them in couple of spots so they don't flop around. Let me know when you get them. I will appreciate if you can take some pictures and put them up so that way I can see if they are worth the money.

Anyone in here using Jerry's front bumper reinforcement brackets? What about people that has Brute Force bumper. Are you guys having any issues with resi mounts flopping around after chopping them up?

    A few things
I’ve had my brute force bumper with kings for over a year now. When I installed the King’s and had to cut the mounts I was worried they would be flimsy. They have held good, but I am doing this just to be sure. Tack welding the resi mounts to the frame would be difficult due to the resi mounts being aluminum and the frame steel.

Need help with installing tracks onto my shell. Can anyone with tracks on their shell tell me if the racks run parallel or do the taper a bit towards the rear of the shell? Can you possibly get me measurements front and rear width?

Ive read tracks being i stalled both ways. I was always under the thought that they should run parallel width all the way front to back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

I was going to bend little steel strip and make a hole in the resi mount and screw the resi mount to metal strip and weld the other end of the strip to the frame. Not sure if that will work good enough. Main reason I don't want to cut the resi mounts is because when tires are deflated I still rub on the resi mounts a little bit on full lock.

I can’t speak about king resi mounts but my ads mounts are flat so i was able to just sandwich the mount between the frame and the brute force reinforcement

Same. If you look closely, they just sandwich the mounting plates. Has worked like a charm. Also just finished the Pacific Crest Overland Route (PCOR) from truckee to el centro and Billy’s Brute Force Fab front hybrid bumper has been awesome along the 1,200+ mile trip with a few winching events to boot. 909FE37D-E266-4E51-8C0A-933609B5F10C.jpg00D36E7F-8277-4122-9D76-92479CB57717.jpg

I think @thebaker cut and flattened his resi mounts to sandwich it similar to how i did it.

Life is good at the moment. First night ever away from my kiddos. Ocean and harbor horn going to sooth us to sleep tonight in a king sized bed. Will find out tomorrow if grandma survived watching the kiddos. 1561850738445530415880512656181.jpg
