Is 2.0 releasing soon alongside the dumptubes or is that date still pending?

Just wondering since a lot of the talk regarding the tubes has been centered around the gains in 2.0 and they are already shipping out.

He said dumptubes are shipping this weekend and that people will get to try a beta of 2.0 with those tubes

91 Base + gear lock will be awesome. I am not a fan of the performance tune for daily driving.

Probably already been mentioned, but I think ECT and Drive with gearlock tune will not downshift like normal.... read the guides for more info.

    Alrighty everyone -
For people who have ordered dump tubes (and are being shipped) you will be receiving an email from us with some questions for 2.0 Beta.
    - dump tubes ordered during the holiday sale will ship in a few weeks

Filled up with 91 octane and flashed to 91 perf. So far, I’ve put about 100 miles on the truck. Tremendous difference in the way the truck drives. Very responsive and the motor just feels like it’s been opened up. Weird to describe, but it constantly feels like the motor is begging me to press the skinny. Well done Matt @OVTune.. Still have about 500 miles of driving to do today. Will report back this evening with thoughts post-trip. Have a good weekend y’all!

How’s the switch from 87 to 93 perf? Not keen on the gas cost but thinking about trying it for a tank or two.

How out a 2.0 beta group for non-dump tubes? Dongled ATs only :boink:

I had 4.88s before the tune. While the combination and every new edition of the tune made it better, I just don't think bo matter what you do, there is no replacement for displacement other than boost

5.7Hemi is a fix for the constant hunt for power... a full 4 cylinder engine bigger... 2.2l larger lol

Looks like those that ordered the dump tubes should have them soon. I know they are listed for off road use only. All I want to know before I make my purchase is “do they throw a code after install”? I just don’t want to drive around with lights on dash.

A few pages back Mat stated that they have not thrown a code yet during their testing. A few other guys with modified exhaust and the tune also said they haven’t had any issues.

okay those of you using the Gear Lock option please correct my understanding on the basics before I flash the GL option.

    1 - S mode + ECT = GL (upshift and downshift)
2 - S mode without ECT will shift like normal s mode.
3 - ECT + D mode not advised as there is no auto downshift.

Thanks for input - Just came back from camping using 1.05.1 Base. S mode was okay - thinking it is time to flash GL if I can still use S mode standard (no ECT) when I don't feel like shifting.

S mode without ECT operates as normal

ECT is the switch that turns GL on. When you turn on ECT, GL is enabled whether in D or S mode.

ECT + D is not a good option for city driving. Highway ok but remember that you’re operating in sort of semi automatic mode and you will need to either select S to downshift or just turn ECT off when you want D to operate normally

With GL, S mode, you can upshift and downshift manually but if you have selected a gear higher than 1 from a standing start, it will upshift to that gear automatic if you let it. Won’t downshift unless you either manually do it or your rpm/speed gets low enough and you’re not calling for acceleration. In that case it will downshift direct to 1st gear anticipating a stop and protecting against lugging the engine.

Any thoughts on making dump tubes with high flow cats? This would be street legal and with large enough cats would probably offer similar amount of flow as the dump tubes with no cats. Some people wouldn't mind paying a premium for a set of dump pipes with cats that wont get them in trouble where emissions controls are in place.
