Any HVAC techs here want to pick up a side job? AC won't come on at my house and its already 80 deg inside :bananadead:

I've been sucking it up but the dogs aren't too happy about it

    Hi Sub,

Trying to wire up my Baja Design rock lights. I suck at wiring in vehicles.

I have 14 ga automotive wire to run them (overkill I know) since I have that on hand. But the BD wires are 22 ga. I am assuming I can simply solder BD lights to the auto wires and run them to the switch pro.

I have 22-18 but connectors but I think soldering and then heat shrink8ng the connection would be a better option. Thoughts?

Ps I’m pretty good at soldering for my rc drone stuff and always thought that was the best approach.

Does the furnace fan turn on but not the AC condenser outside? Could be a GFCI outlet somewhere that got tripped and needs to be reset.

I found that out by accident at my old place. Stuck a night light on the outlet to let me know if it was tripped.

Yes furnace fan does come on, I'll try resetting my GFCI breakers.

Condenser should be on it's own circuit. 220 with it's own disconnect. Shouldn't be gfi protected except maybe by a "whole house" gfci

Just finished installing the lift today. Fronts are 6112s set at 2”. Rears are 5160s with T13 Wheelers springs, which are 1.5” lift. TRD Pro wheels with BFG K02 275/70/17. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Rides awesome. Had one clunk after install. Forget to tighten one of the sway bar endlinks.

I noticed my rockers are getting a lot of chips in the paint so I decided to put my stock side steps back on thinking they might protect it a little better.. As soon as I got in the truck I immediately wanted to take them back off. I can't stand them rubbing against my legs getting in and out. Not to mention they make the truck look even lower to the ground... So it got me thinking about maybe sliders. The stock junk sits 14" to the furthest edge from the frame. How far out do sliders generally sit??

Could also be the condensation drain pipe float sensor. If the pipe gets backed with water, the condensate pan will fill (If your handler has one), trip the senor and shut the air handler down.

Edit: Oof, I was a few pages behind. Didn't see you fixed
