Ive only wanted to see Pasadena if I was to go to Hollyweird. Only because pretty much every influential rock band in the 70's started there. Most of them recorded albums at Sunset Sound, which is still a fully operational studio. Always wanted to go just to see that place really.

Go rent a fun car from Turo. You can even rent a first gen if you really wanted to.

The only trail you’ll fit on is an open field.

Pasadena is way better than Hollywood imo but yeah, there's some cool history in Hollywood for sure. But so much of it has been modernized and the whole town is full of so many fake wanna-be actors and suck-ups that it just isn't worth it. To me anyway, but I've been to most of those places already lol.

The Whisky A Go Go is still around, lot of classic rock bands played there back in the day. Super small venue but cool to see. That section of Sunset is probably the only part you'd want to check out since most of those clubs are all in the same small area of the town

I worked with a guy that took his restored Bus to an offroad park near me. Made it out just fine, in stock form. Hes since built a few rock crawlers so the bus is his garage queen.

With a sleeper box, 70-80's retro styling, and the ability to haul cross country for extra money.

Easy enough to obtain in my neck of the woods. I dont have to worry about bottoming out a trailer on a hill like you would either.

I’ve seen tow trucks bottom out. If you’re any longer than a box truck you will bottom out.

It was so funny to watch when I’d ride along with my roommate in his slammed BRZ. He would go sideways up and down every hill so he would bottom out. Even the little transition from sidewalk to curb.

Screw that. Was the city built like that so all the feces found in the streets can slide into the ocean?

Half the city is built on garbage. Literally. There’s a billion dollar condo tower that’s sinking into the Earth because they built it on landfill and didn’t go down to bedrock.

My Engineering teacher worked on a project that had to be stopped because they dug up a wooden ship. In the middle of the city.
