Old fox shocks
New leaf pack(ones broken now)
New clutch(current one slips a bit)
Awd tcase
Turbo
Short throw shifter
Sound deadener.

That's it.

Drive the crap out of it.

And let's be real, the motor now is probably pushing 140hp. So if I can get another 120hp which should be easy and not strain the motor that much. Be a hoot. It's already a hoot to drive. Think about the wheel base of your 4runner but half a ton lighter. It's a blast.

Turbo will just make fun noises too haha

And I don't think this will happen super soon. Just getting parts.

Not worried about boosting an old motor. Plenty of people have and still do. Not gonna be cranking a lot of boost anyways, not much different pressure than a ripped out sc.

Suspension is getting replaced...did you read my list? Haha no lift though. I don't need it or want it.

Brakes don't though. They work freaking good right now. Better than any of my other trucks have ever stopped. It'll lock them up if I'm not careful. Probably helps it weighs nothing. Haha

I'll leave the front sway bar on. Not sure I want to upgrade it. I still drive 8 miles a day at least on a dirt county road. It's usually pretty smooth but not always. Will see. I know they make beefier ones, grant bought bigger ones for his 4runner. If anything I'll need a anti axle wrap bar for the rear..

And I'm not building a track car. Haha just a super fun daily with awd I can drive year round in blizzards or anything.

I can't hardly keep one truck together.

I don't know what I would do with multiple project vehicles at once.

 

Work on them all. Not so bad. Of course having the space is important which is why really I only work on two..

My sisters little AWD Highlander was fun to drive, couldn’t get it to break loose, just grab the ground and go.

 

Well the shocks will be rebuilt and new leafs. So new for it haha

Awd will be more fun and more safe in some of the bad weather I have to drive in. Plus just be cool. If I can find a oem Toyota 8.4 lsd I'd swap that in. Usually pretty cheap. But not actively looking at the moment. Be cool though.

Very true. I'm really glad I don't have to dd Igor anymore. Lots of miles.

That said. I've been very good with the maintenance for the most part I'd say and catching issues before they arrive. Igor has so many new parts it's practically a new truck. The entire front end has been redone. I'd like to do the rear just a bit as the leafs are all but clapped out. I'll do lbj this summer too as it's been about 3 years I think and I've out a ton of hard miles on them.

Igor isn't modified enough that I can't work on him in my current living situation which is nice.

no. Would never fit.

I'll probably get rid of most of that system really. Its kind of silly at this point. The amps are A/B circuity and D amps are way better and so much smaller. I don't need 2000w of subs either...

Nope. Working working working. Salary life not so fun right now haha Need to have some stuff ready before leaving for the wedding and then we are in the shit for the summer season!

Too bad really, as its gorgeous out lately. My desire to go outside is much less in some ways due to not having Devin around. Need a dog or something..Either way I want to go outside more...but at the same time it doesn't seem as fun to go solo at them moment. I've been biking though which has been fun at Tippet.

 

Yeah. I get that. Sometimes it's hard to be alone. Have you told her how much you are missing her? Need to.

 

Sure, talk every night if she can stay awake haha she's working a lot. Which is good I think.
