Taking advantage of our adult and no-kid time, so we spent a ridiculous amount of money (for me) on some seafood at an oceanfront restaurant.

While at the restaurant a couple older than us started chatting us up. Their lead in was my TRD sweatshirt and asking what kind of toyota I had. Conversation turned into other topics, my wife and i then realized we were being sized up by some swingers. Yes, we passed, fuck yall.

Yup. I’ve got em. I had the Bruteforce reinforcement plates that “forced” me to cut my resin mounts. Now I need to redo mounts. The Bruteforce don’t have the same shear/load tensile strength as the BAMF. The BAMF bolts in a 3 axis. Wayyyyyyy more secure and your not gonna do any damage to the bumper while you are winching(unless the bumper isn’t properly engineered that is).

Parallel is best. Equal load distribution.

Love the early summer and late spring. Enjoying the evening air (when it's cool out) and just scrolling TW with a great beer.

They are definitely worth the money!
Saw and test fit a set today actually and they are great.
I have my resi mounts welded to the frame where the bruteforce bracket would go. Using the mounts from @JLee there is no need to relocate them somewhere else. His mounts don't interfere at all. That and the fact that they are pure beef is what sold me

Damnit .. note to self order BAMF bumper brackets.

@Longboard1110 can you let me know where you end up ordering your king resi mounts from? I too cut into mine for the BruteForceFab brackets.

It’s nice to work on a car with cheap parts.

I puckered mine in maybe an inch to follow the cap narrowing towards the rear. The cam nuts adjust accordingly, only a tiny cosmetic thing. Likely minimal difference in load bearing.

So why can't I just hook a second battery into my truck and leave just a dual battery linked only 12volt? Is there anything stopping me? Just kinda curious. I have two brand new deep cycle batteries and figured just a basic 12volt dual system without all the other bs for now. Just add in cable to both and run like a pack?

I believe unless the batteries are matched doing that can compromise the capacity and lifespan

Edit: not sure if it's like that for lead acid or agm though

    ...too much shit to list.
You are correct. If you leave two batteries in parallel, they should be the exact same brand/model and same manufacture month/year. Otherwise one battery will always be a parasitic drain on the other.
