    Hello all, new member here!

Just finished up a retrofit I’ve always wanted to do! And figured I would share with the community my fun project. I’ll try and work on a DIY but I’m a little short on time as of lately tho.

Side note: had two rings in each side; one American made and one Chinese. One day into using the lights and both Chinese COB leds are giving me trouble so I am pulling them out for now.

    So here it is:
Infinity Q45 seven lens projector retrofit into OEM 2004 Tacoma Housing with green COB led 130mm and 140mm DRL and White 35W 6000k LED headlight. Only have low beams so far, more Retrofits to come!

Update: headlights out again; I pulled defective rings out and touched up with some JB. Tomorrow will bring some more touch up paint early and then a Lense bake then the lenses go back on. fingers crossed second time is the charm!

Update #2: Not the best photo but here is to give you an idea of how badly I blind over drivers.68618170-BB30-42CB-8EF5-827AAEE23DAD.jpg

Haha thankfully with the projector Lense I was able to get them darn near perfect so they are well below the level to blind others. That was one of the major factors for doing the retrofit! Plus the green is overshadowed by the White projector lenses after dark.

What would make these any different than other retro fits that have been done many times on many different vehicles. If done right and aim correctly I don’t see a problem.

I’ve been blinded probably more times from people driving with their hi beams on or from lifted trucks with factory HIDs.

Well said @TacoJohn4x4, I’ll try and get some night time beam pattern pics up soon to clear up all this Projector vs Reflector headlight confusion.

(What irks me most is old lifted trucks in dire need of a leveling kit... with reflector headlights + HID’s = Headache)

Not the best photo but here is to give you an idea of how badly I blind over drivers.

Going to add a spot-beam light bar for your high beams next?

I think next I’m gonna put some small projectors in the turn signals and some switchbacks in the DRL’s as well as keep some form of turn signal with the fogs.
