Considering the knowledge of trucks and lifts of the OP, assuming based of his posts, the best advice is to take it back to the shop.

Dont get me wrong, it's great TW is giving advice, but more troubleshooting info is probably confusing the guy even more.

I can't imagine cutting the frame of such a new truck, seems like a project for an old beater.
Hopefully the shop explained specifically, nearly permanent frame modifications were part of the transformation, of what probably was a perfectly good truck.
Bigger is not always better. Sometimes less is more. Etc

I read through all these posts and wont comment as there has been enough ideas, both good and bad shared. But I will add this maybe it will help your piece of mind. If it comes back from the shop and still has vibe issues (typically 45-65 is pretty much wheel balance), put your stock wheels and tires back on and road test it, if the vibration goes away you can eliminate wheel balance as an issue and deal with the suspension mods.

How is that? The hubs or rear drums weren't changed were they? Im not familiar with drop kits, but usually wheel/hub patterns never change.

The stock backspacing will not work unless you run spacers. The tires would rub the new spindles that come with the DB lift

Crappy theory eh? Ah well . . . . just trying to figure out why a Gen1 Tundra was smooth, Gen2 Tacoma had driveline vibes. They have a lot of similarities, the glaring difference was steel bed vs composite bed. When the 3g Taco came out Sweers said the driveline vibes were gone, problem was "manufacturing tolerances" with the 2g Tacoma.

Watch the install vid. A chunk of the front crossmember gets cut out so the front driveshaft can be lowered, therefore not stressing the drivetrain. That's all the cutting that is done.

1st Gen Tundras are awesome rigs. Not much to compare them to. Small truck with a nice smooth V8. I think they were a superior design to the present Tundra.

A good friend of mine just totalled his 1st Gen V8 Tundra, in an accident that was not his fault, and dude was literally in tears.

That cross member didn’t grow there organically. At one time it wasn’t there, then it was welded in (at the factory) then it was cut out. To go back, weld it back in. Simple really. People modify chassis all the time. So yes, you can go back.

I love the looks of a lifted Tacoma, but after reading mass quantities of threads about vibrations, clunks, bangs, rattles, shakes, and alignment issues...I'll be rolling stock, and just admire other peoples lifted trucks.

I'm wondering how many people have installed a lift kit and never had any issues? I guess the only people that post threads are the ones with problems.

When the 3G Tacoma was rumored to be a fresh design my first thought was just make it like a Gen1 Tundra and you're golden.

People who don’t lift their trucks because other people have had bad experiences .. make me laugh.

    That’s like saying ... I won’t have sex because
    Other people have contracted HIV.

    Just.
    Do.
    It.
    Right.
    And never go cheap.

    In both situations.

This. I had mine lifted by Rogue Off-Road in Vegas and it hasn't caused me any issues. Getting it done by reputable people is a good first step.
