4 cylinders bigger than the 3.5 v6? lol

    Last time I checked (previous 5.7 hemi owner), the 5.7 had a v8 not a v10. :p

@OVTune are the dump tubes designed to work with the turbo(s) or are you still trying to mount them to the exhaust manifold. Still undecided on FI but hesitant to spend the money on the dump tubes if they aren't gonna work with future mods.

I think he was referencing the size; 2.2L is a common 4cyl size.

Then he’s referring to engine displacement. Not cylinder number

I’d be happy with 105.1 if the damn misfires would go away. If any of the testers have misfires pre-2.0 and then end up with low/no misfires post 2.0+dump tubes, I’ll be next in line with payment! Everything Mat’s doing at this point is just icing on the cake besides curing the misfire issue I’m having with my truck. Please cure the misfires 2.0!!

They are not designed to be used with the turbos.

The turbo manifolds are already done. They bolt up right off the cylinder heads.

91 oct and the 91 tune. I’m not consistent with the brand but it’s Shell, Mobile or Chevron

Been running 1.05.1 87 base with 92 octane since 1.05.1 has been released. Worked great. Curiosity got the best of me and I knew I’d be doing some towing this weekend so I decided to bump it up to 1.05.1 91 base (Since I use our 92 Premium anyways) Flashed last Wednesday, Reset ECU & TCU LV’s.
Truck did it’s normal weird relearning things but that’s fine. Noticed a definite more solid feel thru the throttle curve. Commuted Thursday & Friday to make sure everything was good and it felt normal for a new tune learning. Now here is my question, Saturday I did a 200+ mile trip over the Cascades. Has anyone had this tune shift down to 4th from 5th while climbing Mountain passes and have it not go back to 5th or 6th after letting off the throttle? I’ll be flying up a hill passing, Push the skinny a bit more slowly, it’ll drop into 4th and you can control it nicely but once you crest the hill and let off the gas to let it shift, it stays in 4th. If this is a weird relearning thing than I’ll deal with it but it’s pretty strange. Eventually it will go into 5th or 6th but it requires coasting with no throttle for a while and pissing off all the cars you just passed going up the hill. It’s almost like GL is activated at that precise moment of driving.

Sometimes after a hard’ish acceleration in 4th the truck seems reluctant to go back to 5th. If you pop it into S then back to D it will act normal. I think this has been brought up to @OVTune attention before. I am on 1.05 A61 calibration for reference.

    Yes Mat,
I have a 19 TRDOR AT with 5.29 gears and feel the shutter at almost every speed.

Thanks. I did try that. Slipped into S than back to D and it stayed in 4th until I coasted long enough off of the throttle than it shifted. I’m doing the same drive next week for the 4th. If it acts up I’ll slip into S and shift myself. Strange that it does it with 1.05.1 91 & not in 1.05.1 87. That’s why I brought it up asking if anyone else noticed it. Thought I’d ask around before bothering Mat. Hopefully it’s just a re-learn of the TCU.

Decided to try 87 base since I started with 87 performance. I gotta say, the not crazy tip in is really nice when driving around town. Although it does lack a little throttle punch I feel it’s much smoother.

I have this problem after doing the reset LV’s too.
I’ll also have the gears hunt some if I don’t get on the skinny pedal right away. Currently on 87P. Thinking about jumping to 91P or GL
