Does anyone have a 3D model of a 2nd gen?

 

I would love one to 3D print!

Yes, I'm currently working on a 4Runner. But I'd really want to make a 2nd Gen Tacoma, so I can have a replica of my truck.

 

Oh Lord that's awesome. I would love one of a 1st Gen as well.
Would be cool to have a model of the truck, in the truck...

I don't have the STL. I purchased the body as a kit for an RC car.
I'm currently working on a 3nd gen Tacoma by the same person who made the 4runner.

Ah ok. I always wanted to find a 2nd gen file but no luck. 3rd gen STL is on thingiverse

 

Yes, but the Tacoma body on thingiverse isn't to scale. It looks kinda squished to fit the standard 313mm wheelbase.

 

I found 2 versions. One of them specifically lists that it is to scale but who knows. Either way, no 2nd gen stuff.

 

I don't know if you guys have seen what Proline has done recently, they made a somewhat modular body for crawlers:

Shapeways and Knight Customs have really supported it as far as custom 3d parts are concerned. Knights does some pretty good parts that make it look like a 2nd gen as seen below. These little 3d printed pieces are generally big $$$ though.
