That snorkel they use would sure limit a guy for roof rack options. Comes back to far over the roof.

I have AMP power steps (#75142-01A) on my truck, and I love them as does the wife. They have another model (#75142-01A) now that more closely resembles the bed step. this new model also looks like it may fold up farther under the truck.

People who are not "truck" people seem a bit confused when it drops down. They also tend to avoid stepping on it. I frequently have to let them know it is safe to step on the power step. I have been told that they do not want to break it to which I normally replay "Each side has a 600# capacity, it can handle your ass no problem."

I could/would use, but do not have the bed step.

I may be wrong, it is my understanding that AMP Research is the OEM bed step manufacturer and the only power step maker for the 3rd gen Taco.

That’s a good little mod. Shouldn’t be in the way of anything either. Good job.

Yeah probably so. I didn't do the a/c drain mod just posted that video to point out the plastic fasteners I broke taking them out and the easy way to access the a/c drain tube. I have not seen any water dripping off my frame for the last 2 months so I'm concerned because I traded a black 2016 SR5 because the a/c stunk like cow manure. (Hope this truck don't develop the a/c cow manure stank) Now that I found that video I can shoot a/c foaming cleaner up through the tube pretty easy. Just waiting for the funk to start smelling stronger before I order a can of cleaner. I put my shop vac over the tube this morning and no water came out so I don't know where it is going. Hoping for the best...

That a/c drain mod makes no sense to me because my frame gets wet when I drive in the rain, snow, and ice anyhow. I think guys do the mod to help them sleep better at night.

You can get the car solutions anytime front/rear camera kit that is very easy to install. Plug and play and uses the steering wheels controls to operate. If I can do it anyone can. Very happy with mine. Just a thought. :)

Yes. Did it to my 2016 as well as my 2019. I like it because it drips out in one place outside the frame rail. So if I see a wet spot I know it’s my AC not something else. Just piece of mind fir me.

The front camera cable needs to be routed from the grille somewhere I assume? I figure I’ll get past the first service before messing with that kinda thing.

The ol Sequoia took a turn for the worst - structurally / MN rust... classic.. :( - Loved that vehicle but i bit the bullet and purchased what I had been wanting for a while which is a 3rd gen Tacoma with a 6 spd manual. :)

Yeah. Like when someone says tint for lights or tail lights, they act like that person plans to go completely blacked out. Then all the safety, insurance, and state law guys get in and flame the OP.
