** HUGE IMPORTANT UPDATE**

First, I would like to thank everyone for not harassing me about lights while I was out of town for my wife's birthday!

Now to the important parts. We are only a few weeks away or sooner according to TRS for the arrival of the first shipment

As many of you know I have been having major problems with Paypal. Which is why the previous week I switched to a new payment service! Well today when I returned home, I found out that Paypal has permanently locked my account including the group buy funds. I have tried calling them but the only explanation they could give me to why is that they suspected fraud on my account and closed it. I have read multiple threads about high Paypal balances being frozen for no apparent reason. As frustrated as I am, I'm determined to get everyone their headlights for this group buy (most of the first shipment).

SOLUTION

Now that you guys know the problem, the only way to access the funds is for everyone to open a dispute and request a refund (as Paypal wont allow me to refund). Once your refund goes through, you can re-order using the new payment system. DO NOT PLACE ANOTHER ORDER UNTIL AFTER PAYPAL REFUNDS YOU. Now I know this sucks, but since we're only a few weeks away from the first shipment I would like to get this transition done smoothly if possible guys. NO ONE WILL LOSE THEIR PLACE IN LINE AS I HAVE THE ORDER SHEET ASSIGNMENT FOR TRS READY!

Its just a matter of requesting the refund through Paypal and re-ordering the same way you did the first time. (Those who have paid for shipping will be refunded that as well and switched over to the new payment system. I'm adjusting the shipping prices now so it will include the shipping discounts when you re-order. Emails will also be sent to everyone in case they are not constantly following this thread.

Now before everyone starts with the negative comments, understand that this was completely out of my control and unexpected as I have used Paypal for more than 8 years without issues. From my understanding, Paypal is trying to keep as much money as they can from high balance accounts because of the recent decision by Ebay to stop using Paypal.

I will post Full Names and order numbers here for which orders need to request refunds through Paypal along with names and order numbers of those who was successfully refunded and re-ordered.

I know this group buy has been a pain, but we're only a few weeks away and I would like to thank everyone for their patience!

So I placed my order on March 1st and I still need to request a refund for the original $1000?

Damn OP that sucks with PayPal. I have been using them forever and haven’t had any issues like that. Weird they would just lock your account with funds still in there making them unavailable.

 

Im about to post the list now. It will be orders starting from March. Anyone who does not see their name and order number do not have to worry about replacing an order. But again you wont lose your place in line.

 

Exactly! Completely locked it without explanation. I only use this account for Business and 90% of the orders placed from this account is through TRS and has been for years. I don't understand why they "suspect fraud". Imagine how angry I was after returning home from my wife's birthday to see this email.

I’m not trying to be negative at all but this is yet another inconvenience. Something doesn’t seem right. So how long will it take for refund to be completed and then for us to be able to re order?

Yes I know its another inconvenience! It is for me as well as I have to basically re-organize EVERYTHING about this group buy which is gonna take time. Refunds should be instant with Paypal accounts and 2-3 days with credits used. Only re-order when you receive your refund. DO NOT RE-ORDER BEFORE

 

So I’ve spent the past ten minutes on the PayPal website. It won’t even let me request a refund for that transaction.

Now what??

 

You have to open a dispute and choose you havnt received your product is the best option

 

I hope I’m not the only one that can’t open a dispute

 

Let me know if you guys continue to have problems with this. You should be able to open disputes.

 

Is PayPal going to nuke you after so many disputes open at once?

 

They basically have already informed me that I can never open a Paypal account again. Which is fine by me as I will never use their service again! And i'll be sure to inform as many people as I can to stop using Paypal

 

And I'm already in the process of getting a lawyer about this

 

This is insanity. YOU OPEN A DISPUTE. This is NOT MY PROBLEM!!

I think its best to just put that you have not received your product after so many attempts of contacting the buyer or similar
