Anyone run the limited trim as their offroad rig? If I got a 4runner we'd be trading in the wife's Accord for it and she loves all her features and conveniences that it has, and she really wants the limited trim 4runner to retain as many of them as possible. So I have a few questions, Do they make front and rear steel bumpers with cutouts to retain the factory parking sensors? How would the heated and cooled seats work through some carhartt seat covers? Is the Full Time 4WD system on the limited with "locking feature" a true locking center differential? What considerations would there be if I wanted to add a rear air locker? Any other things to think about in regards to an limited trim offroader?

@Lord Helmet just purchased a 4runner not long ago.
I am not sure about the specs, but pretty sure the steel bumpers can be made to fit factory parking sensors. The heat will probably be ok, but not sure about the cooling feature. Good luck on your search.

If your going offroad rig id probably lean towards the trd offroad premium 4runner

The limited T4R has all time 4WD, or AWD no 2hi option. Don't get a limited 4Runner as a offroad rig.

You can cut out the holes for the sensors if you want. the AWD is a true locking center diff. Rear air locker just needs the air locker, air pump, and switch. You can install them yourself or have someone install them or get them already mounted in the 3rd member like from vendor like ECGS aka East Coast Gear Supply.

I figured as much regarding the holes for the sensors, I was just hoping there was some companys that offered already cut. Good to hear about the center diff thanks for the info.
