Man do I miss driving my 16 taco DC, been away for over 2 weeks at CDL driving school and was not allowed to drive it here. Will be almost 2-3 months before I get back in it, put fuel stabilizer in it and told my wife to start it up and move it occasionally, can’t wait to get back in and drive...probably the end of June or middle of July, happy Memorial Day all.

Good luck with your CDL. When you get back in the truck after driving massive commercial vehicles, it feels awesome driving something small and zippy. Like putting on a wetsuit with wheels.

I don't text and drive. I just post snarky replies on TW while driving.

Who do you drive for? Otr is rough and one of the hardest jobs out there. Had my cdl since 2012. I drive local now and make a really good living. Six figure jobs are out there, make sure to keep your license clean and stay safe.

when u get enough experience try getting in to car hauling then u get to drive the latest and greatest when they come out. all the new models before other people it’s a lot of fun plus you make twice as much as someone pulling a van or flatbed

The biggest hazard to truckers is themselves, stay away from fried foods, sodas, energy drinks or plan on being a diabetic and fat by the time you're 30.

This is what Ford and Jeep and Honda and GM cannot seem to manufacture or match. Toyotas, for whatever reason, foster some sort of strange, inexplicable friendship, between you and your truck. You miss it when it’s not around. Sometimes I think the flaws are part of what charms people about these trucks. They give you something to think about as you drive around.

I plan on unloading the trailers for now, need the extra pay, just a lot of hard work but I need the physical aspect and not just driving all day...
