House AC died last night. Been 20 years since was in the HVAC trade so I am Googling and YouTubing all morning fucking with this thing.

I think I am about done with mechanical shit. I am going ride a horse to an Amish arts and crafts festival and become a Luddite.

If you give up on fixing it yourself my buddy owns an HVAC company. They do great work and usually for less than other companies. I can dm you the details if you need it.

So I very nearly traded in my truck yesterday for a 4runner 2012 sr5. Nothing special, but I felt like I wasn't getting quite what I want for my truck.

Granted, it is their job to low-ball me on a trade in, but their price seemed high on a 2012 4runner with 90k on it (23,000) they were offering me 7 (after a bunch of haggling) for my 06 prerunner TRD or with 160k on it. Am I being unreasonable in what I want for my truck? Or did I miss out on a pretty decent offer from them?

Sidenote, mostly just seeing what's around since I'm in the market for a more baby seat friendly vehicle than the taco. (No baby yet but it doesn't hurt to start shopping before I need it)

Anyone need a beater commuter car? Bought it 3 years ago and put 20k trouble free miles on it. Replaced the stereo with a Kenwood unit so I could BT my phone. Engine is strong. Interior is good. Paint has scuffs and the body has two areas rusting. Needs to be sanded and primed or ignored and drive it until it rusts out completely in 5 years then sell it in WV where it will fit right in.

@PyritePirateBill is a body guy, and @Casper66 used to be a body guy, so they may have a recommendation. I think @3pooches might do body work too.
