Plan of attack is to zip tie @Kerleyfries under the truck while we rip-snort around so he can pinpoint it.

It’s the lowers, I’m telling you. The way these trucks align puts a ton of pressure on the bushings and destroys them and makes them make fucked up noises. I should’ve shown you on the spare set of lowers I have sitting in my garage lol

It’d be easier to zip-tie your small ass up under there at this point

Haha. When I left I thought about having you drive my truck to see what you thought, but didn’t want to eat up any more of your time.

If that ends up being what it is, what’s the best way to fix it?

Shit man, I didn’t have anything else to do today. I would’ve gladly messed with it for a bit.

But new lower control arms is the easiest fix. Next would be poly bushings. But that swap is not fun

Yea, doing some research now and seems like replacing the whole unit with everything already installed is the easiest.

Yes to all of this. So much yes. It just had to be a night I'm not working.

Or we just put zip ties on his driveshaft.

That’s what I do. People think I built my truck to wheel. Actually, I started trying to solve a squeak by covering it up with something louder.

Three years later... I’m plodding down the road on square tires, chattering uniballs, a screaming crawler, and a shift linkage that rattles like the thoughts in Gid’s head.

I don’t hear that squeak though. Win!!!!!
