I just want to see what everyone is running before I put mine together. The dual ARB caught my eye but I couldn't help but think that that thing will probably overheat or shut down after filling the second tire.

I was thinking of running a 4 gal 6 port tank, one viair 444c compressor, with a fill port in the front and rear bumper next to the license plate. Everything mounted underneath the truck

What are you airing up? 55” swappers?

I ran the single compressor for years with no issue filling 33” tires. Buddy of mine is running a dual ARB in his JK and fills 4 37” tires with no problem.

    Here’s mine.

My system is portable. I do plan on mounting it in the bed cubby with the expedition essentials mount I have. I just need another pair of hands to do it. But this works well for now.

Anyone know any alernative to mounting an ARB single or dual compressor in the 3rd gen tacoma bed? I like the expedition essentials cubby mount. But I would rather not want to have to cut or drill into the bed to make it work. I dont think ill have room to mount it in the engine bay since I plan on adding a switch pro in the near future.

If you're not running a dual battery setup, the upper left corner of your engine bay has tons of room for your compressor, and you can get a mount for that. Not sure who makes it but @TWTaco has his mounted there. Looks clean.

I bought the CBI vertical. Was not impressed. Looks like someone cut the holes with a hacksaw. Holes had to be drilled out to make the compressor fit. Got it all in there only for the outlet of the compressor is like 1/4 away from the wire loom, so I need to use extra fitting to get it around it. I like that Mountain Off Road one. Wish they listed a part number for the tank. Or is the Tank an ARB?

I previously had the ExE BCM, but ended up moving it under the hood and used this MORE mount as well. Super easy to setup and install and the air tank is a big plus in airing up quickly. The only issue is that the 90 degree fitting hits the hood upon closure, so I had to notch the hood support to make it close properly.

I was given a scuba tank that was up for hydro test when I used to play paintball. I was hauling it around in the back of my AC, but it did take up a lot of room and danger could happen. So, I made this mount with QuickFists:

    IMG_20181201_123909.jpg

This is it installed in the winter with tube sand and my storage net. The tank is below the second tier boards if I need to haul something or if I ever make a sleeping deck.

I love the clean set up that you have @MJ_PDX . I'm going to be mounting the ARB Dual compressor using the Slee Vertical bracket and your 3rd-gen top bracket (thank you for making your design available to others!). But I'm still trying to decide how I want to run my air lines and where I should mount a small air tank. Do you have any pictures of how you installed your air tank? I think you said that you have it mounted someplace behind your bumper? Also, down the road I think that I may eventually run a front air locker. Am I correct in understanding that it can it be run directly from an air tank without needing the ARB manifold?

Mounts in the right hand corner. I have their mount for my second gen and it was super simple to install, everything fit nicely and was machined properly.
