Upgraded the stock TRD OR Bilsteins with some TRD PRO FOX takeoffs.

Been wanting to do this for a while now and couldn't be happier with the change, night and day difference.
Had some trouble getting the upper ball joint to separate (a hard whack alone just wasnt doing it, needed to get ball joint separator from Harbor Freight and widen it a bit, tension then whack) otherwise an easy bolt-on install.

Didn't weigh the fronts but the rear FOX were 9.13 vs. the Bilstein at 3.12 lbs (+6 lbs).

The stock ride was comfy, but a bit wobbly.
PRO suspension is noticeably stiffer but MUCH more solid.

I know someone who's car was totaled by a dear running into the passenger door while they were driving.

Easy like Sunday morning. A few badges removed, a few vinyls put on, and a bath to end the day.

There’s a thread on here somewhere about the hood bounce. I went back to dealer and they put some more epoxy where it had come loose.

I rechecked it today, looks attached well still. The thing that worried me was it didn't look like the usual hood bounce where the skin detached from skeleton, it resembled the bounce before the hood flies open. (I've seen this from experience in another older vehicle) The front of the hood seemed to bounce but when checked was very securely attached. Who knows, just gonna keep an eye on it.

Honestly, not since 2008 :rofl:but in all seriousness, if you do tint your tail lights (no matter how dark) and god forbid you get rear ended, the at fault parties insurance will be quick to not accept blame and you'll be paying your deductible out of pocket. Speaking from experience and from a few friends as well.

Cool rod rack. Bummer that someone stole your bike rack. Hope your bike wasn’t on it.
Unreal how people think they can just take your stuff and think there will be no consequences. Maybe you will get lucky and a security camera caught them in the act. Karma is a bitch, they’ll get what’s coming to them in the end.

Looks great! Gotta love the Cement. What’s the bull bar brand? Never saw one like that before.

Opening the door for them also prevents fingernail and ring scratches.
