Some "art work" from yesterday afternoon... Cut my grass and the guy across the street (the guy that's trying to sell his house, whose grass I've been cutting).

 

Try this. Yard Apes guys in New Milford have their shop cut this way.

Here I was all happy I cut my grass. Come in & see these posts. Dang my lawn looks like crap vs. those! but still the best in my hood so I'll live with it. ...although, neighbor cut down some trees, so I've more light, so much of my woods is turning to lawn. May be time to get a bigger mower, or a mowing guy.

 

out & about, saw a ton of Taco's today. Most in that 'dried mud' brown (that I like). 1 candy apple(ish) red.
Saw one on I-84 hauling ass. Had a trailer w/ side by side jet skis on it, rack on the roof full of gear. Dude was in a rush to get to some lake. Least he knew how to handle his rig.

I came home with a load of rocks in the bed. 1 of 3 or 4 loads. Friend has a stone wall along the drive he wants gone & I have some spots in my stone wall needs filling, so all good. But, someone the rocks haven't unloaded themselves.... Bah.

 

5 day week next week, but 4 are vacation & 1 is holiday. Super Saweet!

To be honest, I really enjoy all those kids movies. There hasn't been one that I didn't like. This one was good as well. The only thing I didn't like about it, and this is just a personal opinion and I totally get the Louis CK thing, is the fact that Max's voice (he's the little dog) isn't done by Louis CK anymore. Kinda takes away from the character in my opinion. But that's just me, and I understand why he's not doing it anymore.

We told the kids that we were going to the movies, but what we didn't tell my son was that a few of his friends from daycare were going as well. The other kids knew but not my son. So when we got there, it was mayhem. They were all super excited and were running around like crazy. It was a great time. The other kids enjoyed the movie as well. Gotta do it again. Next up will be Toy Story 4. Just have to figure out when.

 

Taking advantage of the warm weather lately, keeping busy with little truck mods.
I tinted my tail lights and 3rd brake light,
Went over the B pillar OEM satin finish vinyl with gloss black to match my windows.
Found a close match to blue ribbon so i used a metallic blue vinyl wrap for part of my TRD Pro grill insert, I like the look and it's a little different than everyone else's.
And I changed up the color of my dipped wheels and badges with gold alloy dip Pearland gold metalizer. I had hoped for more of a bronze look, this came out a little too gold for me, but maybe it'll grow on me, if not i can just go over everything with the original color I used called brass monkey.
Tomorrow it will get a much needed bath, can't tell how filthy she is in these pics, I finally got the paint clean and glossy that it looks good even when dirty. The tail lights were a huge pain in the ass because of these little fins the tundra taillights have on them, I'll probably need to redo them at some point. The 3rd brake light was very easy to wrap as were the B pillars, the grill took me a while. A helper with a heat gun and at least one hand would speed things up for sure

 

Looks sick A.F. though. Nice job.

Morning everyone. Happy Sunday.

Another busy day on tap... Soccer in a bit, then when I get home I REALLY NEED TO put down step 2 fertilizer since I haven't done it yet, and then a birthday party for my friends daughter who is turning 1.

 

I got some fert thrown down a few weeks ago to fight the red-thread on some newer sections of our lawn. We missed the storm yesterday by about 1/4 mile in each direction so I need to water tomorrow as well. I really should water today, but it's not happening today, will hope for some of these little storms to hit us today.

 

Yeah... A little rain would be nice. Surprisingly it's been dry and rain free for a while now.

Dropped the wife of at the Fisher's Island ferry yesterday. She's got a sweet gig helping her sister out one week a month. They take care of a super nice (and rich) older lady out there. Wish I could be there to but I need to keep protecting the state from lime disease one yard at a time

I really like that Brass monkey color you had. New one is fine, but for wheels that first color is my favorite.
The gloss wrap on the B pillars is spot on. May I suggest you get aggressive & take it further?
I'd love to see that on the C Pillars, side mirror bases, rest of door window surrounds & that little roof edge.
Basically high gloss black from top of windshield to bottom wrapped fully around the entire cab.
The roof would sort of float above glass.
I think that would look good. (but I also like Monkey Brass ;-p)
While I'm spending your time, I'd enjoy seeing the "Platinum Tundra" badges & door handles wrapped in that blue.

I think what it is - I like to 'hide' distractions on a vehicle to highlight the core design of the vehicle.

Thank you. I'm a little anal about my yard. Not as bad as I used to be. Now I'm more anal about my truck lol. I used to do agway 4 step and aerate or de thatch every fall. Now I just do step 1 and 4 and haven't aerated or de thatched in several year, definitely needs to be done this fall though. I have a mole and chipmunk issue going on right now which sucks.
