Not active much and haven’t had much time to smoke much lately. So I hope everyone is well. Lots of prepping to move from Hawaii to Colorado soon.

Dropped an order to @bvbull200 to ship me some pitfaced. Order came just in time for the upcoming neighborhood holiday bbq.

2 Boston butts rubbed down liberally and respectively with pitfaced. They will now sit until Thursday.

Thanks for the speedy service, pitfaced. Here’s to hoping my bbq/smoking skills haven’t fallen apart since Christmas.

    Cheers.

I don’t know if it’s well known or not, but I learned today that Spicy PF makes an excellent seasoning for sautéed veggies. I cooked some onions, mushrooms, and red peppers in some and it made for a great topping to the hamburger steaks I did on the Jim Bowie.

Glad you and your buddy are fine, and the homes. You can replace a smoker, homes too but they will not be the same. Loved ones and friends, never.

Went through that here Friday with the phone going off at 3AM flash flood warning. 6-8" in 6 hours not as bad as ~15 years ago when we got 18-20". A number of people lost their lives in that one and whole towns swept away.

Farmer West of town did loose 57 head of cattle downriver in this one yesterday morning.

But no one died this time.

Stay safe and good luck on the clean up!

Looks great! Especially that CorningWare stove top blue cornflower with glass lid LOL! I have that 2 piece set also :anonymous: Can't tell you how much food I have eaten out of those growing up, but it is a hell of a lot.

Looks good. I reused the chicken we BBQ last night. I tossed some oil and sea salt rubbed taters in the charcoal grill and baked em. Chopped up the chicken put it in some bbq sauce and heated that up. Then we split the taters put some butter, bbq chicken, shredded cheddar and some sour cream. Served with mixed veggies. Hardest part was starting the charcoal. LOL

We’ve been doing this for a while. We also use leftover chicken or pulled pork to do BBQ nachos. Quick but tasty meals. Southwest style chicken salad sounds really good.

Absolutely. Have to let me know what’s in that salad. We sometimes do a southwest chicken chopped salad. That’s good too.
