are those authentic OEMs or 'knockoffs'?
i ordered one new from Camelback recently (one of my originals had serious ringwear) and cost me $47.90 ... which is much less than local dealer parts dept. was pushing $70 maybe $80 each .... talk about a serious fkn markUp!

cheap knockoffs - they fit and the logo looks like a decal upon close examination but I'm not that picky...

you are missing a part! what happened to it? how did you break it?
is that piece part of the WHOLE assembly ($62) or can you get it separately?

Cleaned and degreased the engine bay. Wish I had thought to take before and after pics, pretty sure I removed 15 years of accumulated grunge.

Been meaning to do that too. Valve cover looks real pretty if you wire brush it a little too.

Oh it’s already like night and day. I covered the alternator with a plastic bag, loaded up a pump-up sprayer with a half gallon of Greased Lightning and went to town. Surprised there really wasn’t any oil, just plain old dirt and black stuff like a belt had broken down to its molecular level. Maybe now I won’t look like I’ve been dipped in tar up to my elbows whenever I work under the hood.

Nice. I just put a rebuilt engine in mine and am just trying to stay on top of keeping it clean, but we drive in so much mud it just kicks up in there anyways. A clean engine is a beautiful thing.

Looks like front end damage that resulted in a new grille, headlights and hood

Quite possible. It looked good from the road, though.

Thanks! I'm probably going to redo/reconfigure the swing out a little. I'd like to get it a little closer to the tail gate as right now it leans away with the weight of the tire. And I really need to change the latch system. I have a new, beefier latch, just need to install it.
