Any chance you could do a couple screen shots of the add? I don't have FB and I'm sure there are others as well.

Very nice! I've seen those and really like the look. I don't think you will have much trouble moving those.

Yeah just posted it yesterday, we got quite a few interests, but nothing serious.
They are pretty versatile bars and really enjoyed them. But local fabrication had a pretty smoking good deal that I couldn't pass up!

I get my maintenance done at the Fox Toyota in Rochester Hills. Never had any issues with them. They've done good work. Typical dealership pricing for standard maintenance though.

Does anyone in here have 3rd gen take-offs for offroad suspension or wheels? Looking to stay in Michigan for replacement parts.

Hey guys, I now have a full exhaust system for sale. Again, posting here first because I'd rather sell semi-local than have them shipped. Still have the TRD catback but now also have a URD y-pipe and Doug Thorley short-tube headers with Vibrant GESI hi-flow cats. Both were installed last summer so they have less than 10k miles on them. I replaced them and upgraded to URD longtubes and a custom equal length y-pipe better suited for the supercharger.

I paid $585 for the URD y-pipe. Asking $300 without shipping. It fits both 2WD and 4WD vehicles:
    https://www.urdusa.com/urd-competition-y-pipe-for-4wd-tacoma-v6-2005-2015/

I paid $500 for the headers and $250 each for the Vibrant cats. These are the best catalytic converters that can be bought for performance. They have a metal core and are designed for up to 500 hp. With the costs to weld them and shipping, I'm in the headers at over $1200 but am selling for $650. These are all set up unlike most short tube headers out there that require cats be welded on. The work is already done for these. I'll even help install depending on location.

The headers are advertised to fit 2012 to 2014 (will fit 2015 like mine) but they will work years prior to 2012 as well. The only difference is they have the secondary air injection tube for 2012 and up, but the older trucks can still use them because the air injection tube is already blocked off at the cylinder head.
    http://www.dougthorley.com/2012-2014-Toyota-Tacoma-Headers-40L-THY-517-C_p_255.html

    Vibrant GESI Hi-flow cats:
    https://vibrantperformance.com/cata...=2070&osCsid=7e1be5126a292f92dd492cf679d165bd

I really loved the sound from this entire exhaust setup. Not too loud but had a nice throaty tone when you get on it. About as good of a truck sound as you can get from a v6. Honestly it sounds better than the URD longtubes and y-pipe I have now, but I opted for the best performance for my supercharger by going catless and equal length.

Hey everyone! I know it's not the typical use of this thread, but I wanted to let you all know that I've put my boat up for sale, and for any of you Michigan Tacoma members I'd be willing to give you another $1,000 off. I'm in the Traverse City area, but travel everywhere in MI for work and can travel to show the boat.

Also, I wouldn't be posting it here if it wasn't TACOMA TOWABLE, coming in at 5,000 lbs with the boat and trailer.

Hey guys, I don't know much about trucks but I wanted to ask when you guys use 4H? I'm guessing 4L is helpful for getting out of snow but don't know when to use 4H. This is mainly coming from trying to figure out if I should get a 2x4 or 4x4 for Michigan weather and roads.

4x4 is definitely ideal for Michigan, especially if you ever plan to head off road.

4lo is usually more suited to obstacle crawling or rutted out climbs where you can’t get up based on momentum alone. Or if you are totally buried in deep snow and trying to get some sort of momentum going. Otherwise, 4high is better for most all other scenarios, including driving through deep snow, or trying to break trail through fresh deep snow (where you need the wheel spin speed of 4high); sandy areas and soft sand hill climbs as well.

For general daily driving in snow or slippery conditions, you would always use 4high (if needed). In 4lo you’ve got about a 25mph speed limit, above that you’re putting a lot of heat and stress on your transfer case.

Thanks for the explanation. So you wouldn't just leave it on 4H for the whole winter but just when you need it? Can you just be driving and switch out seamlessly from 2H to 4H or do you need to be at a full stop?

You would not leave it on at all times; only when you need it. You will only want to run in 4 high in slippery conditions or on dirt, where a tire has the ability to "slip" if it needs to. Going in a straight line it doesn't really matter, but going around a curve or a turn, your front and rear wheels will travel at different speeds, and if one doesn't have the ability to slip, it can potentially bind your drive line. So to recap, you wouldn't want to run in 4 high on dry pavement

For 4H You can switch between without stopping (I think at 55mph or slower you can switch? Might be less than that). 4lo you have to come to a full stop, and shift transmission into neutral, then can change into 4lo.

I would personally always choose 4wd over 2wd in Michigan if I have the option. I use 4hi on the highway in winter up to 70-75 mph, but like @kbp810 said don't try to engage or disengage above 55mph. Also turn off 4wd while youre parking say in a parking lot or doing slow sharp turning.
