Need Advice Buying a 2013 Tacoma!!

So i found this 2013 TRD sport edition Tacoma with 75000 miles on it for $26,500 its got a lot of the bells and whistles you can get from the factory as well as a what seems to be bed linered front and rear bumper the appearance of this thing is immaculate. I test drove it today and all was going well until i got up to about 50 MPH and let off the steering wheel to see if the alignment was off and the steering started to slightly shake back and forth about an inch it wasn't enough to shake the truck or do it while holding the wheel, any ideas on what it could be? the guy said it was driven maybe once or twice within a year so I am under the assumption that it could be the tires may have became unbalanced from sitting in the same spot for a while, I live in Arizona so it does get really hot here I do plan on taking it to a shop for them to look at I just want some ideas that may be causing this. And is $26,500 worth it? other then the steering wheel wobble it is in excellent condition. anything else i should look out for as well at 75000 miles?

maybe I wasn't looking hard enough but I couldn't find any other 2 gens in my areas that look as clean and as low miles as this one for around the price, most of them are around 24000 for ones with over 100k miles and the paint isnt anywhere near as good as this one

Too much money, it’s only a sport model, and it’s private sale. Dude asking like dealer prices, but I’m sure it’s negotiable or I hope it is.....

The market really dictates the price, I bought my truck 3 months ago and pricing is all over the place with these Tacoma’s. I was looking at trucks in CA and AZ and as you mentioned the I noticed they were priced higher out west.

I know you probably don’t want to low ball him but I’d offer anywhere from 23k
The sport models don’t fetch the larger prices compared to the Off Road.

24 or 24.5 for that truck would be reasonable. Look in other states.

 

yeah i offered him 24000 and even threw 26000 out there and he said he was dead set on $26500

Its really clean and a good price but I want the double cab

yeah I dont plan on buying it after getting everyone's opinions Ill probably just tell him if he wants to go less to let me know

 

Keep looking, it took me 8 months until I found what I wanted. In the end I made a small compromises but saved $$$$.
I walked away from two serious deals, because the dealers were f@@king around and the truck wasn’t as it stated online.

 

Keep looking man. I got my 2012 sport 4x4 with 60k miles from a DEALER for 24k. This guy is asking way too much. Should be more like 21-22k
