Yes. He's expanding into some new space and has said publicly that he'd be really busy and not responding to the phone or email with any expeditiousness.

He'll get back to you once he's caught up.

I’m just being an ass. He said “seriously” twice...

    I wasn’t questioning @Anderson authenticity.

My humor tends to be super dry which doesn’t translate to “internets”.

I have matches. I was just going to parallel them for now then set up all the other crap later. Might not though. I'm so f-ing busy trying to finish shit at the property and somehow work two and a half hours away and maintain my sanity.
I got this if I just don't demolish anything that I can't get done that day. I

I purchased a Snugtop Rebel with the Sportsman package (reinforced to hold more weight), and had Snugtop install the tracks. They have them parallel. They are 37” on center at both front and back (and on a long bed cap).
Take that for what it’s worth. But what was also interesting is that the the owner/manager at Rack N’ Road in Sacramento said that he would have installed the tracks further out on the cap, as they currently sit ~5” in from the curve. He thinks that the rails should sit closer to the upright portion of the cap to better handle the weight. We are assuming that the rails were put in so far on the Rebel because they are in the reinforced section of the cap roof.
I’m not sure how much it matters, but I’m also not an engineer. I would think that they’d be fine as long as they were symmetric.

If you specify that you want rails when you purchase the top, and if it's being built, additional support is built into the top (which sounds like what you got). That drives where the rails go. This was how mine was built. And I'd bet yours will be just fine.

Hell Yeah. Glad you got some. I’ve been killing the smallmouth along the Sacramento River over the last couple of weeks, even with all the boats speeding by.

I had one which was a small mouth, strike and I set the hook and reeled and it spit it out at the boat. I let it float for a second because I was pissed and it re struck the same bait haha I’ve never seen that. Usually they just swim away.

Yeah that's totally nuts! I believe it though.... they are crazy aggressive. They have quickly become one of my favorite freshwater fish to catch. Beautiful and feisty as feisty can be. I was wading the Russian river last week and hooked into a decent sized one in a deep pool..... horsed it around for maybe 5 minutes and within an eye-blink it ended up snapping my line (8lb test mind-you) clean. Crazy shizzz

I agree. And I wanted them to put in the rails for the warranty. I didn’t want them doing back and complaining about an issue I had caused, because they put on the rails.
I had no issue with the rail placement, just thought it was funny that the factory puts it in a different place than someplace like Rack N’ Rails. I don’t think that RNR is wrong, but that they do it differently, even with the reinforced part of the roof occurring further into the roof.
