yyyeah, I think patching the holes sounds like a better/easier plan lol.

Stupid roof rack, anyone considering drilling their roof should sleep on it for a year before committing.

Just quick steel it. Then grind it down smooth with a flap disc. Prime then paint. It should be a two hour job. And it will be water tight. Quick steel is the shit. I always have a tube in my rig on the trail. Makes JB weld look like elmers glue. lol

Yeah I haven't had much luck with JB weld except for keeping one of my front Durobumps in place, lol. Stupid weld nut broke loose inside my LCA when I was removing the stock one so I had to JB weld the new bump stop on, it's actually held up for over a year now without coming off. As long as there's no side to side force I think it works ok

But yea I'll look into the quick steel for this roof project, I was initially thinking I'd have to use body filler and then paint over that but I'd like to use something stronger and more durable.

Could be worse... you could be in France. Now that is hell.

Currently I'm sitting with a decent forecast for this week.

They might release earlier. A week ago they not only acknowledged the Pixel 4 they put up photo's of it. I'm betting an early Sept release.

You can't just unbolt the roof, these are simply patch panels that have to be welded.
